April 20 — Why fly first class when you can book your own private plane? XOJET, the private jet company backed by TPG Capital, can take you across the U.S. faster than a commercial flight and its service is on demand. The company keeps client names secret, but social media posts from Instagram and Twitter reveal a few of them, including celebrities The Rock and DJ Tiesto. Bloomberg's Ramy Inocencio takes a private tour over Manhattan with XOJET CEO Brad Stewart.

People on this thread just don’t get it. There are a few million people who are so wealthy that 30 grand one way is relative to you spending 150 bucks one way. You have no idea what its like to be that wealthy and its not nuts to them.

When you are an executive out to finish a $20 Million dollar deal, a small $30,000 fee to fly across the country is nothing. If you buy a ticket with a commercial airliner and you miss your flight because the security lineup is out the door of the airport, then you just lost $20 Million dollars. That’s why this XOJET service is in such high demand.

As if the deals always get canceled if other party misses the flight for excusable reasons. Plus if you are on 20mill deal you either arrive early, or if lines are huge you manage to get passed (if you are late usually you can skip it, people understand that).

Think about it, if you and your plus one both pay you’re only spending about 2,500 which is about the price of first class, except you’re actually getting first class treatment! You get to your destination QUICKLY and in luxury! ON YOUR TIME ! Not the airports time, you book it and in a few hours your planes ready for you ! At the end of the day though it comes down to
      1) are you a businessman like Ian said, and you would need to be able to get to clients quickly
      2) do you want to settle or do you want to live ????

That’s coast to coast….and they’re using a super mid sized jet….if you do shorter distance it will cost less of course ….I can hop on a private jet all to myself for 5000-8000 to New York City or even Chicago no problem, and it’ll only take 50 minutes ALSO I get to add a plus one!! !! compared to 6 hours and 1 stop in between as well as TSA and baggage hassle …..I’d much rather charter a private jet and get to my destination in 50 minutes than to settle and be stressed with hours of waiting

+kappelmeister123 Wealthy people don’t say phrases like “fucking poor white people.” But since you’re clearly a liberal, you can explain yourself as to how you liberals can claim to be compassionate towards the poor while simultaneously using poverty as an insult. Also, singling out white people is racist. And as for the hedge funders who support Trump you are completely missing the point. Hillary attacks “billionaires” while being funded by them. Anyone who thinks the Democrats care about the poor are fools. Welfare isn’t compassion for the poor, it’s how the Democrats get votes. The numbers vary by welfare program but the overwhelming majority of welfare recipients (poor people) vote Democrat. It’s a little over 50% for food stamps and over a whopping 80% for those on section 8 housing (where hard working taxpayers like myself are forced to pay for people who in most cases are more than capable of finding a way to pay their own rent).

OMG poeple its not the humans training they are comparing its the service of a flight on demand! But hey if you wanna be insulted just about anything will do these days to the sensitive little bitches behind a keyboard. I would know being a Youtube myself.

Isn’t this just the same thing as chartering which has been around forever? When it say uber, I was thinking people with their private jets were turning on their smartphones and clicking accept job and yelling to the pilot… “hey let’s land in that airport over there… there is someone we have to pick up…”

I was kinda thinking something similar. I thought it was a lbs Uber-like platform which allows high end clientele to book a ticket on a private jet last minute with this company. This doesn’t really connect with Uber much at all.
